The Eurofighter Typhoon while conduct air brake and drogue parachute braking just after landing on runway. The air braking conducted from retractable part above jet fighter's fuselage near canopy, while the drogue parachute was coming off from aft-section. This one was came from German Air Force. They have received 120 of them put of total 143 Typhoons planned. This jet fighter poses to be combat aircraft alongside with Panavia Tornado.

The landing speed are varied, from 100 kts to 200 kts, that is equal to 180 kmh to 360 kmh just after touching down runway. Theoritically, this landing speed should more than stall speed, about 10 - 20 percent higher.

The objective of air braking and drogue (drag) parachute are decreasing speed of moving objects (aircraft) while they are landing.
