The Hawaii Air National Guard (HI ANG) is the air force militia of the state of Hawaii of USA. Militia means a military force that formed from civil population in order to supply a regular army in emergency situation. Its command are come from Governor of Hawaii which is not directly, in normal United States Air Force chain of command.
The HI ANG centered at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Honolulu and command by commander of USAF at Brigadier General level. This HI ANG also considered as Air Reserve Components of USAF (United States Air Force).
