The Concorde is the one of only two commercial jet transport that has supersonic speed capability. The other aircraft was Tupolev Tu-144 of Russian. This aircraft was in service from 1976 to 2003, developed and produced by Aerospatiale and British Aircraft Corporation.
Concorde maximum speed about twice over speed of sound at 18,000 m altitude and able to carry about 128 passengers. Air France and British Airways were the only two airlines who operate airline, regularly, Concorde flown from London Heathrow, Paris Charles de Gaulle to New York and Washington. Concorde cuts the flight time about twice faster than regular jet aircraft. Concorde last flight was from Paris and arrived in Washington in June 2003.
