This is the first time for Australian carrier, Qantas Airbus A380-800 landed in Dubai so the giant bird 'reserve the right' to have a water cannon salute.

Water salute held for ceremonial objective, as aircraft landing or being taxiing on runway or at apron gate, one or two or more fire fighting cars spray water and have arches-shaped.

German Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon Touchdown at Leeuwarden

Fighters, Eurofighter Typhoon of German Air Force while touchdown at Leeuwarden Air Base in Netherlands. The picture taken by Michael Manz shown us the attempt of Eurofighter Typhoon braking on runway after touch down. Its canard wings retracted down, creating air braking effect, helping jet fighter to stop soon.

Leeuwarden Air Base is located in Leeuwarden, northwest of the capital of Friesland. This air base is one of the biggest F-16 Fighting Falcon's base of Royal Netherlands Air Force. This Air Base was built in 1938 for commercial airport until 1949, after that Leeuwarden became military air base for Royal Netherlands Air Force.

Back to German Air Force, Eurofighter Typhoon is a fighters and interceptors jet in Luftwaffe (German Air Force) alongside F-4 Phantom. While they also have Panavia Tornado for bombing and reconnaissance missions. German armed force also known as the fourth biggest military power in Europe and one of the best-equipped air force around the world.

Air France is the national-owned company of France and be the French flag for decades. Formed in October 1933, had merger of many airlines such as Air Orient, Compagnie Générale Aéropostale, CIDNA, SGTA ans Air Union. For your info, SGTA (Société Générale des Transports Aériens) was the first commercial airline in France that founded in 1919.

In 1945, whole France's air transport was being nationalized, officially Air France was declared and conducted first flew in 1946. While, during world war II the operation moved to Morocco.

Headquartered in Tremblay-en-France, Air France also known as founder of SkyTeam, international airline alliance. Air France is one of the largest airline in the world based on passengers, revenue and number of fleet. According to 2012 statistics, Air France carried more than 50 million passengers in a year. Currently, they flying about 381 aircraft in the worldwide destinations.

McDonnell Douglas F-18 Super Hornet (now owned by Boeing) of US Navy's Blue Angels while in flight formation in the sky. There are four F-18s, two F-18s are in inverted flight and other two F-18s are in normal pitch maneuver.

The Blue Angels is United States Navy flight demonstration squadron that formed right after world war two in 1946. This makes Blue Angels one of the eldest aerobatic aircraft team. There are six pilots of US Navy flying the F-18 Hornet series and making stunning aerobatics shows across the United States. In the last two years, US Defense Dept. said that Blue Angels now lied under US Air Force Thunderbirds and recently they have reduced its flying shows.

The Super Stallion is the heaviest and largest helicopter in US Military, widely used as military transport and utility purpose. The CH-53E has 42 tonnes MTOW (maximum takeoff weight), thanks to third engine additional as well as more blade on its rotor and tail rotor section.

Currently, Sikorsky developing even bigger helicopter rather than CH-53E, they will be called CH-53K. The CH-53K plans to be the largest and heaviest helicopter ever built with MTOW more than 60 tonnes. At the moment the heaviest helicopter belong to Russian Mil Mi-26.
